We’re looking for an Occupational Health Technician to join a team in Cramlington.
Reporting into the HR Manager, you will work as part of the HR team to deliver a comprehensive health service in line with statutory, mandatory and company policy.
This role is extremely varied and no two days will look the same.
Providing information, mostly in electronic format, to aid care assessments
Working with the HR Manager and HS&E Coordinator to identify health promotion needs
Devise and implement a programme to meet health needs (including wellbeing medical programmes)
Carrying out audiometry, spirometry, vision screening and other health surveillance and biological monitoring as required
Carrying out pre-employment medicals and drug and alcohol testing
Assisting with accident treatment and investigation should the need arise
You will have experience in an occupational health role or have a related degree.
Because this role involves collaboration, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. This role will include handling confidential information so a sensitive approach is required.
