We’re looking for a Digital Designer to join a Marketing Communications team in Newcastle.
You will be a key member of the Design team, collaborating with the wider marketing team and key stakeholders to deliver design projects that support the business in delivering its goals.
You will take a user-centric approach to creating digital assets for a range of online platforms and applications including websites, email communications, social media, apps, and display advertising.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the digital asset library and use your creativity to provide end-to-end designs. You’ll see the impact in real time.
This role is flexible - You decide if you’re more productive working in the office or from home.
There is a lot of variety in this role and no two days will look the same!
Execute designs in close collaboration with the Marketing Communications team to ensure that the brand identity is maintained across all user touch points.
You will work closely with the Marketing CRM and Channel Manager to design and build HTML emails for direct use and CRM integration, in line with usability and deliverability best practice.
Keep up to date with new innovations to make sure emails and digital assets are always adopting best practice in design.
Take ownership of the digital asset library. Ensure folders and filenames are catalogued intuitively and file sizes are optimised for multiple channels.
Quickly translate ideas into user journeys, high and low fidelity wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
Test assets and optimise based on performance.
Create and execute new concepts for digital assets (static, video, and HTML) for a range of platforms (email, social, digital advertising, eCommerce, websites, mobile apps, etc.).
Create website assets from hero design to web animations.
Research, collate, and present ideas and concepts for collaborative digital innovation.
Support the existing Graphic Design team to deliver work requests from both internal and external customers to the agreed SLAs and to the highest quality standards.
To support the existing Graphic Design team with knowledge share and best practice about digital design tools, skills and best practices.
