A leading global sampling company are looking for a Senior Developer to join their tech hub in Newcastle.

The position is suited to a Developer with vast experience of web based/software development.

Although the ideal candidate is someone based near the tech hub in Newcastle, the client is considering national candidates on a remote basis (candidates will be expected to visit the office on a semi regular basis).

Junior candidates of any coding language with a passion for the role will also be considered!

You will preferably have experience in:

  • Strong development of software that is both innovative and performance orientated and vetted to a high standard.

  • Experience of back-end technologies within Elixr, Typescript and React is preferred but not required.

  • Experience in front end technologies based in React, C# or Pascal is desirable also.

  • Experience of hosting technologies such as google cloud platform, terraform and ansible.

  • Testing practices base in selenium and cucumber although there is flexibility with regards to these technologies.

  • Experience of leading software development teams through the whole end to end process.

  • Experience broadcasting forecast and progress to internal teams & senior stakeholders.

Knowledge of the stated technologies is a bonus however someone with solid programming knowledge in any language or technology would be considered if willing to learn the systems within the business.
