We are looking for an Implementation Consultant to guide new customers through implementation processes. You will use your expertise to liaise directly with customers and set up systems in line with their requirements.

This is a great opportunity to work closely with senior project managers and deliver tailored expert advice to clients and internal stakeholders.




  • Meet with new clients and the key contacts to discuss the following:

    • Set-up

    • Current procedures

    • System requirements

    • Customisation

    • Reporting requirements

    • Transition of data from third party sources

    • User Acceptance Testing and Parallel runs

    • Employee costing/journal requirements

    • Training

    • Interfaces

    • Self service

  • Travel extensively throughout the UK to meet with clients

  • Liaise with customers and keep them informed throughout implementation stages through to handover.

  • Work within the predefined Implementation methodology

  • Complete all relevant documentation, specifying the requirements and agreeing the specification with the customer

  • Set-up system to pre-defined requirements. This can include all aspects of system setup

  • Import, check, and balance take-on data, reporting any differences, missing data or anomalies to the client

  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the setup meets the requirements

  • Responsible for and involved in handover to Support or Bureau

  • Be available through transition to going live

  • Contribute to product enhancement

  • Proactively seek to keep up to date with legislation and changes within the industry

  • Maintain an on-going relationship with the client

  • On-site consultancy and training as required

  • Any other duties relating to Implementation and Support as required

  • Excellent knowledge of HR and Payroll processes, legislation and best practice

  • Adept at using software and familiar with complex configuration

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • IT literate

  • Good communicator

  • Ability to maintain and foster close working relationships with clients

  • Logical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Organised and methodical

  • Able to meet strict deadlines

  • Honesty and respect for confidential information

  • Ability to work well in a team

  • Ability to operate in client-facing meetings with contacts at all levels
