HR/People Assistant

Do you have experience providing support within a People Services team?

A global leader in their field has an exciting opportunity for a HR Assistant to join their team.

You will work closely with the People Services Analyst to seek out better ways of working within the People Services team, analysing and improving processes using the relevant technology.

It’s an exciting time to join as you will be part of the team that supports the implementation of their new global people system.

Responsibilities:

  • Producing scheduled and ad-hoc reports, stats and dashboards, and analysing data to help educate and inform decisions within the People Services Team

  • Preparing, manipulating, analysing, and presenting data using a range of tools

  • Administer mass data uploads into TAPS system

  • Ensuring People Services data is regularly cleansed and maintained

  • Liaising with other regions to gather information required for various cyclical reports

  • Preparing mass mail merge via letter and email

  • Reporting and analysis of People Data and MI in line with the Data transformation project

  • Working closely with People Team data experts to deliver and administer solutions for People Services, constantly focusing on continuous improvement

  • Contributing to People Services Assistants’ team projects as required

  • Responding to mailbox queries as and when required

About You:

  • Experience of Microsoft office systems in particular advanced excel skills

  • Experience working with a range of HR systems in particular Oracle

  • Use of IT software such as Power Automate, Microsoft forms, Power BI

  • Experience of data presentation and analysis using a range of tools

  • Familiar with HR Shared Service environment, employee lifecycle processes and working to SLAs

  • Logical thinker, ability to apply practical solutions to deliver operational excellence

  • An interest in learning / upskilling in the use of project management techniques, Lean six sigma

  • Sees change as an inevitable part of life and adapt to this in a positive way looking at continuous improvements of processes, systems, and advice in People services.

  • Comfortable to challenge where appropriate and always working to seek ways in which People Services can ‘add value’

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly both written and oral.
