Sales Support Administrator

Exiting new role based in one of the North East’s leading providers of ICT consultancy, solutions and support to national and international organisations.

Working as a sales support administrator you will provide administrative support to ensure efficiency of the day-to-day operation of the sales team. This will involve supporting the sales managers through a variety of tasks related to sales reporting and administration.

Having worked within an B2B environment before you will be a good communicator and have the ability to build rapport with key stakeholders within the business and not be shy when it comes to chasing documentation and dealing with a busy workload.

You will be familiar with a variety of administration concepts, practices, and procedures, which include

  • Responsibility for compiling or coordinating the compilation of confidential commercial and time sensitive documentation

  • Downloading and manipulating sales data to creating accurate reports in excel

  • Inputting customer order data into CRM to create proposals or internal sale orders to for delivery

  • Tracking and monitoring the progress of customer orders for revenue month end recognition

  • Dealing with customer queries in the absence of sales managers and responding to customers

  • Ensuring sales managers maintain their schedule to update the pipeline progress of their opportunities in our CRM system on a weekly basis.

Personal skills

  • You will be self-motivated and can effectively multitask and communicate via phone and email to ensure all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

  • You must be able to direct and support the work of other team members. You will also need to rely on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required for this role

  • You will be outspoken but diplomatic, with a drive for continuous improvement.

 

  • We are looking for someone with a passion to build on their professional skills and acquire some technical knowledge, by attending educational internal and external workshops

 

  • High level of skill of organisation and time management skills with the ability to priorities own workload

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Numerate

  • Able to presentation information to internal team

  • Good level of IT literacy and proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Experience of using a CRM reporting system
