Supply Chain Supervisor

Our manufacturing and production client is looking for a Supply Chain Supervisor to join them at their site in Prudhoe on a permanent basis.

Job Role

• Supply Chain/Purchasing Supervisor you should be able to manage and optimize purchasing activities and processes

• The Supply Chain/Purchasing Supervisor's responsibilities include developing purchasing strategies, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, coordinating with internal purchasing and customer service team in their daily activities

• Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks

• Managing supplier relations, negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.

• Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets

• Manage and motivate the Customer Service Team to ensure all business requirements are met

Skills/Experience

• Experience as a Purchasing Supervisor or in a similar position

• Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management

• Supervisory and management experience

• Knowledge of SAP is desirable but not essential

• Strong planning and organizational skills

• The role is day-shift Monday to Friday with earlier finish on a Friday
