A thriving, £200+ million turnover Group that saw a record year in 2020 are looking for a Financial Analyst/FP&A Analyst to establish their FP&A function within their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified individual to grow with the Group as they will look to implement further heads into the FP&A team under your management long-term. Therefore this role has a unique progression opportunity.
The role will report into the Group Financial Controller and work closely with the Management Accountants. The duties of the role will be diverse, and has been sketched out briefly below, however, there will be further analytical requirements that can be discussed at interview. Study support can be offered if you are not yet qualified but you will ideally be close to qualification or already qualified.
Day-to-day (not limited to)
Business planning: (1) Scenario analysis (2) Consideration of impact of plans on the balance sheet, cashflow and regulatory reporting
Cashflow forecasting
Leverage forecasting
Analysis of group financial statements
MI reporting
Board packs: Both internal (management board meetings packs) and external (lenders and PE presentation decks)
Revenue, margin and EBITDA contribution analysis
Market and industry analysis
Regulatory reporting: Monitoring of capital requirements, impacts of new initiatives on capital requirements
Requirements
Experience in forecasting and planning is essential
Strong Excel skills will be important
Part-qualified (preferably close to qualifying) or qualified
