Our client is a unique healthcare marketing agency with offices in London and Newcastle. Due to rapid growth and expansion, they are recruiting for an Account Manager to join their team in the Northeast.
This is an exciting role for an ambitious and industrious person to work in the exciting and ever-changing world of healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing.
Your primary responsibility will be managing the activities for several of our agency’s key accounts. You will be working with the Account Director for a select group of clients and will co-ordinate the resources needed to deliver projects on time and budget.
You will be expected to deliver across a wide range of channels including on and offline media, design, packaging, and exhibitions.
Supporting the Account Directors including day-to-day business, new project briefs and meetings. You will be the ‘go-to person’ for the Account Director.
Delivery of projects, ensuring completion to a specific schedule and within an agreed budget the day-to-day management of each job within designated accounts including raising estimates for work, and liaising with suppliers and relevant team members.
Maximising revenues and profitability within designated accounts.
At least three years of business-to-business agency experience at Account Manager/Project Manager level.
Experience of delivering multi-channel communications
Be self-motivated and able to take ownership of projects
Effective supplier management capabilities
Keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints
At least two years’ experience of working within a medical communications agency environment is desirable
Experience in professional client relationship management
Working knowledge of the ABPI code of conduct and experience with pharma approval software systems is desirable
