Trainee Inventory Controller

Our international manufacturing client are looking for a Trainee Inventory Controller to join them at their site in Newton Aycliffe on a permanent basis.

Job Role

• Provide support to the inventory PI team through the analysis of stock variances and interrogation of SAP data as required

• Carry out process audits to ensure SAP compliance of key areas and transactions affecting stock integrity

• Stock Compliance Audits - Conduct Supplier Inbound, Internal Process Compliance Audits

• Measure, report, identify and drive improvements in stock control KPI’s including stock accuracy, negative stock, etc.

Skills/Experience

• Experience in a high quality, high volume, lean environment

• Basic knowledge and understanding of the Cycle Counting processes

• Must be able to deliver clear objectives and be result focused

• Knowledge of IT systems, especially Excel

• Awareness of Kanban/JIT process

• Highly organised with the ability to effectively manage time and prioritise workload

• Good attention to Detail and High Levels of Accuracy
