IT Helpdesk Engineer

NRG are working exclusively with a dynamic and growing IT service provider based in Newcastle. Our client is looking to recruit an additional IT Helpdesk Engineer to their team to assist with technical support. They are looking for an individual to come in with a positive attitude who can work individually but also be part of a team.

 

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Logging of incoming support tickets

  • Assist clients with diagnosis of issues via telephone, email or remote access

  • Managing support tickets based on clients SLA’s

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Take ownership of client documentation

 

You will have a good understanding of:

  • Microsoft Operating Systems (Desktop / Server Support)

  • Networking and Security

  • Active Directory

  • Microsoft 365

 

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience
