Our client is looking to recruit a Trainee Support Analyst for their office based in Newcastle. The company provides an integrated and market-leading range of financial software used by businesses worldwide.
Successful candidates will be providing on-site software support and resolving a variety of client issues. You will be provided with comprehensive training that includes the associated programming and software knowledge you will need to perform the role.
This role is ideal for graduates with strong mathematical skills and an interest in software or application development.
Investigating issues to determine if they are expected behaviour, a defect or an enhancement liaising with the client as appropriate.
Analyse and diagnose to determine the underlying cause of the issue, handing over the issue to the development teams for any code changes as required.
If no code change is required, taking responsibility to resolve the issue to the client’s satisfaction.
Working cooperatively with Subject Matter Experts, Product Owners, Client Relationship Managers and third parties as appropriate to fully understand and progress with issue resolution.
Strong numerical background (A grade in A-level maths or equivalent)
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience in a customer-focussed environment
Good technical understanding and an ability to translate them into more simple terms
Adaptable to an ever-changing environment
