Overview of Role – Sales Executive

The role will focus on developing new business opportunities with a degree of account management by maximising, maintaining and creating strong relationships with new and existing customers focused on electronic assembles and solutions within the connectivity and power disciples within the IoT Solutions Division of my client’s organisation.

The Sales Account Executive must be able to work independently, proactively with enthusiasm to drive and increase sales. This will be in-line with Group Operating Rules, annual target expectations and strategic objectives as set by the Sales VP.

 

Key Responsibilities

•Seek and develop new business opportunities through new and existing customers in line with company objectives and annual targets.

•Ensure Revenue Storm tools and techniques are applied when conducting business.

•Build a pipeline capable of significantly increasing sales revenue through organic growth.

•Support delivery of the annual update to the business strategy and financial projections to meet/exceed the prior year plan and remain ahead of market growth benchmarks.

•Deliver budgeted revenue and support delivery of P&L for the business in line with or exceeding agreed budgets.

•Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts and co-ordinate the management of all other accounts, develop a robust key account management programme, build strategic relationships with key customers, identifying cross divisional opportunities where appropriate.

•Build up detailed knowledge of all prospective and new customer relationship so that the customer interactions can be facilitated to maintain business growth and profitability.

•Compliance with agreed sales tools (e.g. Salesforce, CRM, Revenue Storm, KPI Dashboards.

•Responsibility to ensure that all new business opportunities meet the financial requirements established in line with my client’s process procedures.

•Develop and drive a sales lead strategy in line with corporate requirements and local business goals.

•Ensure that sales, new business acquisition and margin targets are set and achieved in line with developed strategy.

 

Qualifications (Desirable):

•Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Advanced Certificate in Sales Management

•Diploma in Professional Sales

•Institute of Sales and Marketing Management (ISMM) Level 5 Diploma in Strategic Sales (Sales Management or Key Account Management)

•Managing and Marketing Sales Association (MAMSA) Advanced Diploma in Sales Management

•Engineering/technical qualification/background.

•Experience within the aviation sector would be a distinct advantage.

 

Competencies:

•Ability to engage those in the purchasing organisation, as well as those responsible for evaluating and implementing what you sell, providing these contacts with information about how our offerings could be applied to their environment

•Ability to approach formal decision-makers in purchasing as well as the organisation responsible for evaluating what you sell, providing them with thought leadership into unique applications of your offering as well as delivery capabilities of our company.

•Ability to develop and differentiate your offering against client specifications that include features, price, delivery performance, maintenance requirements, service level agreements, etc.

•Ability to expand and differentiate your offering against formal and informal criteria that include optimising the client's operational efficiency as well as advancing the professional and personal agendas of operationally-focused client influencers.

•Ability to use a market-level understanding of our product's strengths and superior ability to deliver your offerings, our flexible commercial terms (including price) and the support of formal decision-makers as the basis for changes to the client specification that will help you win.

 

Salary

£45,000, bonus up to 25% based upon personal performance.

Car allowance, Pension, 25 days annual leave.
