NRG is proud to be partnering with Formica on the look out for an experienced Accounts Receivable & Payable Manager. Reporting into the European CFO, this is an opportunity to join Formica’s European finance management team as the leader of a team of 7 who control two critical tasks which keep the business running on a day-to-day basis - ensuring we receive money from our customers and paying our suppliers for the whole of Formica Europe.

 

 

  • Accounts Receivable - ensuring robust credit risk framework in place:

 

    • Cash collections, chasing overdue invoices, removing internal blockers, eg claims

    • Reporting and escalation procedures for overdue customer payments

    • Managing customer credit exposure within delegated authority

    • Managing insured vs uninsured positions consistent with business risk appetite

    • Managing relationships with credit brokers, insurers and agencies

 

  • Accounts Payable – ensuring application of Formica ‘Purchase to Pay’ policies and procedures, in conjunction with Procurement:

 

    • Processing supplier invoices – managing team and back-up

    • Escalation of non-compliance, eg overdue approvals, spend without purchase order

    • KPI development and reporting

    • Implementation of forthcoming system developments

    • Concur (employee expenses) system management

 

As a key member of the Finance team you will be a strong contributor of an efficient finance service that drives a culture of customer service excellence and continuous improvement and ensures business engagement and satisfaction is continually maintained.
