The role encompasses researching into and developing novel technologies for all wind turbine blade materials and processing techniques, specifically composite materials, adhesives and coatings.

Personable and confident dealing with both external customers and internal personnel within the business.
Ability to support projects to ensure on-time delivery for both public and private funders
Manufacture of composites, manufacture of adhesive bonded test specimens
Use FTIR, 3D optical microscope, ultrasonic thickness and other materials test and analysis equipment
Knowledge and practical experience of composite materials and processing are highly desired, particularly around glass and carbon fibre epoxy composites, sandwich structures and out-of-autoclave processing methods.
Knowledge of sensor technologies and NDT, data processing and modelling would be beneficial.
You will be a team player with a strong and flexible work ethic, who consistently works to high standards.
You will have thorough understanding of materials, and their manufacturing and testing principles.
