Release Implementation Manager

NRG have partnered with a highly recognised insurance company based in Newcastle who is actively looking for an experienced Release Incident Manager to join on an initial 3 month contract.

As a member of the team you will be responsible for ensuring project deliverables required for a given release are planned, aligned and delivered in a co-ordinated manner in readiness for the implementation of the release.

Knowledge and Skills required:

  • Extensive release / project management experience

  • Excellent planning, management and collaboration skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and programme team members

  • Understanding of live operations (business and IT) and the enhanced support arrangements required for a major implementation

  • Strong focus and sound decision-making

  • Extensive experience of the IT and change delivery life-cycle

  • Excellent communication, motivation and organisation skills

Beneficial qualifications/experience:

  • Package software implementation experience

  • PRINCE2 Foundation

  • Experience working within Insurance market
