An exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Digital Marketing Manager to join an established organisation that is well known in the region for travel and tourism. Reporting into the Head of Marketing & Communications, you will lead the company-wide digital strategy, developing existing and new strands of digital activity and generating income, through the management of a successful and motivated digital team.
You will also maintain an awareness of current trends and standards both in the digital and marketing sectors; assess new developments and technologies that may be of value to the organisation.
Key responsibilities (but not limited to):
Lead the digital marketing team within the organisation, overseeing both strategic direction and quality of delivery
Oversee and lead the development, management and delivery of the organisations digital vision
Manage the digital team on a day to day basis to deliver the digital strategy and individual targets. Being responsible for personal development, reviews, updates, annual appraisals and objective setting for the staff in the team.
Provide design and development support to two digital specialists to ensure they are effectively coached and developed in line with current standards and trends
Take a lead role in providing digital marketing expertise including spotting and developing new business opportunities, bid writing and supporting pitches for new work
Contribute towards the company income generation plan by developing, implementing and driving a plan to commercialise their digital platforms and develop e-commerce opportunities
Ensure all areas of work are appropriately supported through the correct digital platforms and expertise
Manage the development, implementation and technical maintenance of all company websites, micro-sites and digital applications
Manage the digital marketing budgets and monitor expenditure against agreed budget on a monthly basis
Skills and experience required:
Educated to degree level or equivalent in a marketing or web/digital discipline
A track record of working within an agency or multi-client/multi-stakeholder engagement environment
Experience of digital marketing within a B2B/B2C environment
Experience of managing budgets
Team management and leadership experience
Experience using WordPress or other common website CMS
SEO and Google Analytics experience
Search Marketing and PPC experience
CRM management and e-Comms development for B2B and B2C
Social Media marketing and advertising
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage a broad portfolio of projects
Ability to encourage and develop teamwork within the workplace
