NRG is currently working with a key client based in Durham who is looking to recruit an experienced Lead Business Analyst. Responsible for managing a team of three other Business Analysts, you will play a key role in the ongoing development of the organisation’s delivery platform as well as contributing to the successful delivery of new product development plans.
You will be responsible the following:
Lead and manage a team of business analysts.
Line management responsibilities will include technical recruitment, appraisals, one-to-one meetings, and overall motivation and performance management of the team
Ensure accurate and detailed requirements documentation and acceptance criteria are produced in the form of Product Backlog
Provide expert advice and guidance to the Development and QA teams to enable them to deliver targeted solutions that will meet or exceed our customer’s expectations
Oversee the creation of detailed requirements for any given project or product based on a set of standards and practices agreed with the CTO.
Gain a detailed understanding of the business and its core processes and help map out the associated business rules and frameworks.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with other department managers and staff to assist in the requirements gathering process; in-particular strong relationships must be built with the publishing, international and sales teams.
Collaborate with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to obtain a greater understanding of the needs of the business, and the technical requirements needed to successfully support and execute on the business strategy and goals.
Support relevant stakeholders through the feasibility, ideation and inceptions stages.
You will be highly organised and work quickly and be able to easily handle and adapt to numerous shifting priorities and successfully engage in multiple projects. You will have the ability to work cohesively within a team and build effective stakeholder relationships at all levels. You will effectively communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience and vice versa
