Business Development Executive

NRG is working with a software company that is recruiting for a Business Development Executive to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and has a great ability to develop and manage key relationships. This role involves travel around the UK with an average of 3 days a week away from home.

Key responsibilities:

  • Successfully promote and sell their products in the healthcare industry

  • Preparing and delivering strategic presentations to clients

  • Maintaining up to date knowledge and understanding of the functions of their platform and other software suites

  • Provide support cover for the Sales Commercial Lead

  • Explore new ways to increase sales opportunities

  • Maintain a good working knowledge of the healthcare industry

  • Attend conferences to promote their products

  • Liaise with product managers to maintain a strong understanding of the product range

  • Canvas for potential clients

  • Assist team with delivering of marketing tasks and campaigns

  • Undertaking any other reasonable tasks commensurate with your skills and experience

Skills and experience required:

  • Must be able to demonstrate relevant experience in a similar B2B sales position where you’re confident face to face with clients as well as over the phone

  • Clean driving licence

  • An interest to work in the healthcare sector

  • Passionate about technology and a high level of understanding using IT tools

  • Experience of selling software technology, products and software solutions

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to develop and maintain professional relationships internally and externally

  • Excellent listening and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills

  • Ability to deal with all levels of an organisation

  • Proven ability to manage your own workload effectively
