Purpose of the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager with experience developing an international multi-channel market. The role is based from home with extensive travel overseas and within the UK.

enginei is a comprehensive energy management solution for marine applications incorporating fuel management, tank monitoring, emissions monitoring, performance optimisation, energy management and a sophisticated reporting tool.


Main Functions

  • Achieve sales targets and increase product awareness.

  • Accelerate sales revenue growth in the key strategic areas

  • Identify, quantify and deliver significant growth in other geographical markets if a strategic opportunity becomes apparent

  • Identify and quantify potential new product opportunities

  • Achieve international sales growth through both direct sales and distributor networks

  • Provide support to existing distributors and identify new distributors as appropriate

  • Acquire and develop key accounts throughout the regions

  • Providing a high quality customer experience through;

    • Delivering product demonstrations and training using techniques appropriate to the customer

    • Participating in exhibitions and seminars where appropriate

    • Carry out vessel surveys when required

  • Ensure robust management and traceability of leads passed to channel partners

  • Provide monthly report on progress on objectives and KPI’s and include detailed feedback


key Performance Indicators

  • Achieve sales target

  • Key international territory sales

  • Travel required – up to 50% of time

  • Monthly sales report

  • Track all activity through Customer Relationship Management system


Essential Experience, Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • Track record in developing direct business with key accounts

  • Experience in developing an international multi-channel market with a proven track record in growing routes to market

  • Skill in promoting and sustaining a ‘customer first’ culture

  • An expert in lead management and appropriate lead management techniques

  • Proficient user of MS Office applications

  • Possess confident and accomplished presentation skills with experience of multinational audience

  • Problem solving attitude and willingness to continuously improve
