NRG engaged as exclusive recruitment partner at Pink Boutique

Partnership between two North East women-led businesses

NRG is delighted to confirm an exclusive recruitment partnership agreement with Pink Boutique, the region’s top-ranked company in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 league table.

Pink Boutique is an innovative e-commerce fashion business, based in Newcastle upon Tyne, which ranks number 12 nationally in the Fast Track league table.  The online fashion retailer was founded five years ago by Alice Hall with just a £90 investment.  First year turnover was £500,000 and has seen exponential growth to put them in reach of a £15m gross sales figure for this financial year and plans to expand into the US and Australia.

The owners have partnered with Newcastle headquartered recruitment business NRG, to handle their recruitment and ensure they have the capacity and drive to deliver the next phase of growth.

Alice comments “The decision to partner with NRG was one of our easier business decisions.  NRG and Pink Boutique are both women-led SME businesses headquartered in Newcastle. We have confidence in the NRG team.

Julie Blackie, joint co-owner  “NRG is one of the longest established recruitment firms in the North East with an impressive track record and we believe this partnership will protect Pink Boutique’s consumer and employer brand as we move into new markets”

Therese Liddle, CEO at NRG says “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Alice and Julie of Pink Boutique to provide recruitment services, enabling them to focus on the business strategy and people development.

She adds “Pink Boutique is a fantastic example of passion, hard work and entrepreneurship, all of which are behind NRG’s success.  We look forward to a long lasting relationship with Pink Boutique and supporting their strategic growth plans”
