The winners of the 2014 North East Contact Centre Awards were announced during an evening of glitz and glamour on Friday 21 November. After weeks of deliberation the judging panel of seven declared Barclays call centre the winner of the ‘Over 250 seats’ category whilst London and Country Mortgages took the trophy for the ‘Under 250 seats’ title. Other key awards included Customer Service Superstar, collected by Sarah Leach from AXA, Contact Centre Adviser of the Year picked up by Paul Markey from Virgin Money and Brightest New Star awarded to Becky Scales from Sage Pay.
