Calsonic Kansei is a supplier of heat exchange, air conditioning, exhaust, interior, and electronic automotive components to various car manufacturers including Nissan, Renault and Jaguar Land Rover. The North East Automotive Sector operates in a sophisticated well developed model, integrating the very best of global and regional businesses, each adding their niche expertise in the supply and distribution chain.

Calsonic Kansei’s European subsidiary is headquartered in the UK with further European operations in Spain, Romania, Russia, France and Germany. The Company is part of a larger global network spanning 62 operations in over 16 countries including Japan, China, Thailand, India, US, Mexico and Brazil.

In the North East of England, Calsonic Kansei provides employment for over 1300 people across three sites including a co-location within the Nissan manufacturing plant.

Since August 2013 Calsonic Kansei has been working in partnership with NRG to launch an extensive recruitment campaign to attract highly skilled temporary workers to support a busy period of expansion following the introduction of new programmes. The support provided by NRG ensured that Calsonic Kansei could attract the right level of candidates to maintain the Company’s high levels of production quality.
